Set within a beautiful Georgian-style home in Manley, Cheshire, this project was all about balance, respecting the property’s period character while introducing contemporary comfort and style. The result is a grand yet tranquil space that feels timeless, luxurious, and completely at ease within its surroundings.

The homeowners wanted a bathroom that felt in keeping with their Georgian property; classic and elegant, but with a modern edge. They envisioned a calming, neutral colour palette paired with soft textures and refined details. A key part of the brief was to create a bespoke shower using large-format tiles, giving the space a serene, seamless aesthetic.

The fully bespoke shower was the focal point and the biggest technical challenge. Designed to fit perfectly within the room, it required precision to ensure every detail aligned. Crafted from large-format tiles, the shower incorporates a seat on either side, blending functionality with luxury.

Our design team worked closely with the homeowners to create a bathroom that feels both grand and inviting. The freestanding bath offers a sculptural focal point, complemented by classic brassware that nods to the home’s heritage. The double sink vanity, finished in a warm taupe tone, introduces a subtle modern softness, anchoring the space beautifully. Every element, from the neutral tiles to the bespoke shower detailing was chosen to enhance the bathroom’s calm, spa-like atmosphere while maintaining a timeless sense of elegance.
